We are proud of our history

History is often something many start-ups take pride in lacking. We see history as experience: when you have danced with the stars, you know better how to take the next partner higher.

Our name originates to our beginning when we worked together with Hollywood studios and Nokia in early 2000. We were the main source of content for Nokia’s digital services to consumers e.g. ring tones, wallpapers and logos. Nokia was also our minority owner.

After being the main content partner for Nokia we worked closely with several business lines of Nokia in designing and developing new digital services. In addition, we worked directly with network operators.

Our next focus was on our own mobile content publishing platform Starcut MediaOne. Our customers included NBC Universal, The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Google, Bloomberg etc.

Apple introduced iPhone in 2007 and changed the mobile landscape. Following suit Starcut began developing mobile applications in addition to web services.

Today we are a multinational highly efficient team with deep knowledge of design, development and maintenance of modern digital services and solutions.
